Concrete is arguably a perfect street furniture material: it can take almost any shape or colour, accommodate any number of accessories, can be heavy enough to stop a truck and is robust enough to last a generation when designed, placed and maintained considerately.

It gets a bad reputation because of its high-energy production, but we also need to consider its inherent value in service life, recyclability and also the increasing number of carbon neutral and “green” options now available to us.

Our Atlas Concrete range was used on this project to provide a huge amount of additional seating as well as sectioning a large communal space into deliberate mixed-use spaces.

Concrete was a great choice here, forming a solid and durable base for bespoke timber toppers with tables and we polished the tops, which added a premium feel to the installation.

A very basic example of how concrete can be used in public and private spaces to delineate, add levels and provide multi-functional seating. These rectilinear forms are the staple, but we’re capable of so much more!

While we’re happy to supply concrete items to site, we know installations sometimes need specific tools and experience, so let us factor that in for you.

Atlas Concrete Collection

Atlas begins as a simple system of modular blocks that allow formation of vehicle barriers, retaining walls, or just clean hard-landscaping arrangements. We then add an endless array of metal and timber accessories to add comfort, visual appeal and function.

Atlas is a bespoke range with a standard core. If you can imagine it, we can cast it!

Installation:
Typically freestanding either on or below finished floor level. Each site will have different requirements for delivery and installation, and we’re confident we’ve got them all covered; just get in touch.

Standard units are 600mm wide, and lengths of 600, 1200, 1500, 1800 & 2000mm.
